Band's List Black Metal Plecto Aliquem Capite Rewards of Seeking Wisdom

Plecto Aliquem Capite has been a bit of an oddity or an anomaly if you may from the get go. I had the displeasure of listening to their debut EP which was nothing short of sick, twisted and crappy in terms of production.

This particular single shows a different side to the band, the single feels well structured and has mature production values and some interesting samples used throughout its 10 minute run-time. Rewards of seeking wisdom is longer than any of the band's previous releases and includes several rhythmic breakdowns and melodic passages which come as a pleasant surprise to anyone accustomed to their debut. The vocals are shrill and disturbing and the drumming is spotless as it is capable of complimenting and building the doom laden riffs and destroying that very atmosphere with the drop of a blast beat.

This single will not be for everyone but this single will serve as an indicator of how far a band can push the sinister feel created in black metal. This is unhinged, I believe that the phrase "orchestrated madness" best describes what Plecto Aliquem Capite from Sri Lanka has created.
