ECLIPTIC want to create something unique and they care for a stylish presentation – no wonder that the nice digi-pack packaging catches the watcher’s eye immediately.

The musical performance makes a similar impression, especially the progressive approach enthuses me, because despite all playful turns and measure changes the band does not forget about the songs’ thread during their powerful and filigree compositions. Consequently, all lovers of egregious melodies as well as freaks for technical finesses will enjoy this album. The guys offer a lot of dexterity, but they do not exaggerate with solos. I really love the unbelievable harmonious and touching acoustic interplays, which leave a lasting impression because of their intensity and fragility. Apart from that, these breathers form a nice contrast to the faster elements. The songs’ build-ups are very variable, but not designed; the different parts go together in wonderful manner. That’s why it makes no sense to write about certain songs. It would be good to enjoy As Of Yet Unknown in its overall effect to get swept away.

On this album, complex but easy to digest tracks and subtle melodies go hand in hand perfectly. A demanding impression is more important than catchy refrains – this album is made for music addicts with a lot of time to lean back and feel the atmosphere!
