| InfinityZero says : Nervous/happy/excited. I submitted 3 things to different magazines and publishing houses. One is a short story submitted to a Brit magazine where I can win around $800 if I get first prize, and another short story was submitted to the Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine... I'm not sure how much they pay for accepted work, but apparently it's a hard magazine to get yourself into and would do well on a type of writing resume if I got the story accepted. And the third is a 15 page excerpt of my novel sent to a publishing house. If they like what they see, they ask for the rest, and then I may get published from there. Really not expecting to get anything from any of these 3 places, but I have to try, and I can always hope. Also, Demo, sucks about missing that concert. I've never had to miss a concert but I can't imagine myself not being able to go last minute to a concert I would love. But as Raina said, there'll be other concerts. |
