guys, seriously? this Moon's song is Nothing special, it's fast, but it's Nothing else. It's still a regular black metal. Check this out, it's still a bm.

pavel says : Miniradman, your definition is okay, but I can not agree that Marduk or Infernal War are Brutal bm bands. I know those bands well, and I'd rather say that Marduk is regular bm, sure it has blast beats and stuff, but still it is just little bit more Extreme kind of bm for me. Infernal War is a great example of polish furious death/black metal. I think Mercenarion's Weeping Birth was the only example when I would agree for the term 'brutal black metal', cause bands that you've mentioned are of course Extreme, but it's just the beauty of black metal. Cheers !

Here's another one.

Found this band recently. They had Craig Pillard on vocals.

Brutal death/doom?

And here's a bonus. Definitely not a metal band, but heavy as hell.

Oh wait, I think I Forgot to mention these guys:

French noise band. Not metal, but insanely speaker-breaking heavy. If you can get past the earaches, you'll find this band has a very schizophrenic vibe to it. Listening to a whole album by these guys is daunting, but very unique.

while on the topic of noise metal, does anyone here consider The Black metal band Revenge to be noise metal? or is it just me? 0

The tag on this band is quite correct. I would consider even into the direction of war metal (not much though). Ever listened to Weeping Birth?

I've heard OF them, never actually HEARD them 0

I'm still struggling with the concept of war metal... is it like raw brutal Blackend Death Metal or something along those lines 0

Hmm, yet pretty much what you say: raw Brutal black/death

Perhaps some examples to get a taste of it

This is NOT war metal, just Weeping Birth
