I have seen this type of thread about twice for Black Metal, so I thought "why don't I make something like that, but with death metal".

And here we are now.

My vote goes is between Canada and the Czech Republic. But because the Czech side has way more grind influence, Canada gets the vote.

One band comes to mind, and should be the only valid one. Death, the creator of Death Metal, and not to mention the most "famous" Death Metal band, Cannibal Corpse... so yeah there ya go lol.

I remember having fun once, it was terrible...

i'm not sure, its hard to classify one place as having the "best" Death Metal scene, seeing as how it's so international now, but the US and the Netherlands have some pretty bad ass bands.
