Well, you know, one evening after I had listened to the Top 40, while I was preparing a Flame thrower, just for the case I would one day be able to lay my hands on Britney Spears, Eminem and others that had featured in the program, I happened to be listening to some stuff of a couple of Norwegian guys who had more or less0  the same idea's. After that it kind of stuck.

When i was 16 i started to listen to Rotting Christ and Cradle Of Filth but i wasn't a black metaller. Actually I didn't know what Black Metal is.
One day I accidentally bought Immortal's "Damned in Black" and from that day on i discovered Black Metal and now I'm a huge fan of black metal. Until today Immortal are my favourite band.

When I was quite young, as long as I can remember I always had an ear for heavier music. I mostly listend to thrash and death but was on the search for heavier stuff... I have always been facinated with Darkness ( If that makes sense =P)The first Black band I listend to was Mayhem. From there on it really just took off. Ive just always felt pulled towards it and loved the talent aswell.

Ah yeah, that movie introduced me to a lot of bands. It's also the first time I heard of Burzum, but I didn't get into them until later.

Did you see the sequel to the movie? Sam Dunn made another Headbanger's Journey movie.
