GandhiEgo says : Fair enough! I'm not a Metallica fanboy, but some people tend to shit on them just because they released shit from on And Justice For All and they fail to see how much this band has contributed to the Extreme metal scene.

I don't listen much to Metallica nowadays but I know that without albums like Kill Em All, Ride The Lightning or Master Of Puppets, I probably wouldn't be where I am now.

So back on tracks, a few of my faves:

Dark Angel - Darkness Descends
Slayer - South Of Heaven
Death Angel - The Ultra-Violence
Vio-lence - Eternal Nightmare
Anthrax - Spreading The Disease
Acid Reign - everything
Sabbat - History...
Anacrusis - Suffering Hour
etc
etc

am impressed , cause few people mention Dark Angel , well only the true thrashers know such a band

you've got great taste in music!!!
but the reason i am impressed the most  is that you like Anacrusis and Sabbat!
most people consider them second class thrash bands but i think the same as you do!
not to mention that i am a big fun of english thrash so Acid Reign is a band that i really love and i am eagerly hoping for a reunion!!!

You guys are going to make me blush... hahaha

Well, what I can say. Acid Reign used to be one of my fave bands and I really dig their Obnoxious album even though it's probably got one of the worst covers ever. As for a reunion, I'm not sure it'd work but why not.

Anacrusis' first LP and Sabbat's History are classic material, they just did not get as much attention as other bands. But it's funny to see now that with this 'Thrash Revival' some people limit the genre to the Big 4 and do not see that just like for Death Metal nowadays, there were plenty other bands and not just a few big ones located either in the Bay Area or in Germany.

Nowadays I'm more into DM than TM, but let's say that one 1 record Out of 10 played in my stereo is still TM. And I'm having much fun rediscovering (almost) forgotten bands like VIRUS, Laaz Rockit, Holy Terror, Uncle Slam, SOD, etc, the list could go on forever...

Keep thrashin'!
