Well my fave thrash bands are Motorhead, Megadeth,Unearth,Slayer and Kreator

lets just say they kinda lost "a little" edge in their thrash sound when Kirk Hammett came in..compared to the time when Dave Mustaine was still with metallica..It was really, the thrash sound that they had right in that era..the "Kill em all" era.. Dave's guitar skills was really thrashy and it does have that "speed" feeling or the "Thrash metal" feel.. Kirk Hammet is also a good guitar player..also thrashy but i just noticed he was more into melody.. in other words ride the Lightning and Master of puppets is still a Thrash Metal album. Only difference is that these two albums has more melodic stuff compared to Kill em all...(is it clear now?)

well that's just me though..just my two cents worth.

Fair enough! I'm not a Metallica fanboy, but some people tend to shit on them just because they released shit from on And Justice For All and they fail to see how much this band has contributed to the Extreme metal scene.

I don't listen much to Metallica nowadays but I know that without albums like Kill Em All, Ride The Lightning or Master Of Puppets, I probably wouldn't be where I am now.
