Ideal 'running from the cops' theme:

RUNNIN' LIKE A BOSS.

Q: Are there any bands whose music you dislike that you would still like to see live?

I'd like to see Opeth, Dimmu Borgir, Disturbed (have seen them twice, actually), and probably a few others. I'm seeing Opeth in March

I really want to see Slipknot live, i've always heard the shows are crazy. The only album i like by them is their 1st, and that's for nostalgia reasons.

Q. Same

A. I don't like DragonForce as much anymore, but I really want to see if the guitarist is as quick live as he is on the albums.

Fuck one, Date one, punch one... GO!

A: I'd fuck Kirk...I guessPunch Varg (I used to like some* of his stuff past the Aske demo, but now I just can't stand it. and don't get me started on his new "albums")and Date this cutler fella, not sure who he is, but he seems fancy enough, and i'm lonely... so lonely.Q: what was your first concert experience-I'm sure I've asked this before but I felt compelled to bring it up again.

Aww, Demo, Burzum's great! 0  Even Varg's new stuff's pretty awesome, except Umskiptar, which was kinda bland.

A: Other than this really small free-admission show I Saw with a few so-so Death Metal bands in the back of a CD store, my first concert was Disturbed, and it was the most beautiful thing my 14-year-old Head could imagine. They played my then-favourite Disturbed song right off the get-go, and overall the performance was quite awesome, and I still think that now. Draiman really Nailed the vocals live, and the solo sections and drum solo from Wrengren were really awesome. I Saw them again a few years later--they weren't nearly as good with their performance.

Q: Most memorable experience at a concert?

A. Being crowd-surfed by 7 people at a local concert

Q. Same (Most memorable experience at a concert?)

A: since I've posted so much shit about concert ventures I've had on here, I figure I'll tell a new one that I don't think I've talked about on here 80,000,000 times. Me and 2 cars full of metalheads from central Illinois drove Down to st.louis to go see Deicide and about half a dozen local St.Louis acts... overall the concert was pretty shitty for me, The dickhead Patrick Swayze bouncer wouldn't let anyone under 21 go outside during the concert at all. period... anyway, the show itself was pretty lame, horrible sound, venue was the same shithouse that I've come to expect from St.Louis. After the show, when they finally allowed me to leave their little roadhouse bar I walked out to meet up with the guys I came there with and Bitch about how awful the concert was only to find out one of my buddies (who was pretty much full drunk and kinda stuttering from the cocaine he did before the show...not sure about the coke thing, but I know he does that stuff occasionally and it makes him talk like porky the Pig) got threatened by Glen Benton after Deicide's set. Apparently he tried to shake Hands with him or something, Glen Refused to which said friend called Glen the dreaded "R" word (Rockstar) which pissed him off even more, I guess he pretty much threatened to Kick his ass and it just escalated from there.. so as we're all trying to get more details outta Keith (the drunk and coked out guy who almost got in a Fight with Benton) and who happens to walk by us in the parking lot other than Glen Benton again. Keith, still kinda belligerent and drunk outta his mind hurls some Insult at him and screams "BLAME IT ON GLEN" (a play-on-words of deicide's song Blame it on GOD, which I still find hilarious) Benton comes straight at him going "I warned you, I'm not mickey mouse, I'm not cookie monster. etc. etc." Apparently Glen was in just as pissy a Mood as  I was that night and flat out Refused to take pictures or shake Hands with anybody that night. The verbal argument just circled around for a good solid Ten minutes, when some security guard finally stopped getting high and decided "maybe I should do my fucking job and break up this altercation". Instead of benton getting on his tour bus and loading up the band's shit and just leaving, he sat RIGHT ACROSS from where our vehicle was parked (apparently Deicide can't even get a tour bus anymore, they were in one of those industrial size people-mover vans so many Baptist churches use to haul their people around in) and was still fuming about the incident. So as we were trying to round everyone up and get the Hell out of that godforsaken town, Keith would slip away from us every so often and go "f-f-fu-FUCK you Glen Benton." We finally got outta there without any fights breaking out, but that was definitely a first, almost seeing a Fight between the frontman of a major touring ACT and a drunk, Fucked Up friend who wouldn't leave him the Hell alone... fun night.. Damn, I embellished the Hell out of that story. that's how you know it's real.Q: Most overhyped/disappointing album of 2012

Thursday 09 May 2013 - 04:11:07
Since no one's posted on here in ages...

A: My most memorable experience at a concert was when I met David Vincent, vocalist/bassist of Morbid Angel. I usually bring something by the band to a concert in case luck's on my side and I bump into one of them and can get an autograph. I had the CD booklet to Altars of Madness taped inside my vest. Wasn't expecting to get any signatures...

When one of the opening bands finish their set, I go to the bathroom to get a sip from the faucet (the concert lasted 20 hours with 16 bands, so I had to keep hydrated!). This guy who I'd been talking to earlier tells me that Trey Azagthoth (MA's guitarist) is in the bathroom. I walk in and take a drink and look around, and there's this huge guy with long black hair covered in spikes and chains wearing dark glasses. I asked him if he was in Morbid Angel and got him to Sign my CD booklet. IT WAS AMAZING. I've never Ever had that kind of luck at a concert before. I still have the CD of course! And yeah, I thought it was Azagthoth who signed my booklet, but it later turned out to be Vincent (I was only referring to the pics on the back of the booklet where Azagthoth had hair a lot like Vincent does now).

Okay then, next question:

Q: Are there any bands that you used to Hate that you now love, and if so, who are they?

Wednesday 22 May 2013 - 21:30:37
I used to Despise !T.O.O.H.!. The reason for my disliking of this band, was the drums and vocal. I found the vocal irritating, and he sang in czech, which annoyed me more cause I had to go onto google translate to find out the song name. The drumming I didn't like due to the repetitive snare.

Burzum - Thought black Metal was shit until I heard war by Burzum.

Q same question.
