I went to see Evile last night. The songs I've posted were from the two support bands. These are my favourite songs by them. Which do you prefer ?

Hunting high and low.
Power Metal has always been such an amazing genre: Killer guitar solos and a strong emphasys on the most difficult instrument to play: the voice.

Now for something epic: Rhapsody vs Gamma Ray

Doom Metal:

I didn't know there was such a thing as a Doom Metal song that was under 6 minutes. xD
Uh, I'll have to go with the Cathedral one. The sound on the Mythic song is too thin-sounding, and it sounds like two songs tacked together akwardly. The singing sounds like Chris Reifert fucking around. The Cathedral one, while the production isn't too great either, has a 'bigger' feeling to it, and I feel the epicness and the passion right away, and I think that's what Doom Metal is supposed to have in it. The vocals are a little... strange, given the rest of the sound, but generally it's pretty good.

Now, to piss some people off by making 'em compare Nu Metal songs.
But you gotta actually listen to both of 'em!

By the way, these are the two bands I'm going to see in april. 0
