That would be a hard one , if i didnt have a special affection for Venom , being one of my first metal bands , and one of my greatest metal moments when i SAW them live . That song , being one of the most popular , did the trick .

Bathory wins for me. Darker, better vocalist, etc.
Venom comes very close since you used their big song 'Black Metal', but if it had been something less memorable from them I woulda gone strongly for Bathory.
Although the Bathory video was wierd. Pics of album covers by other bands... that was a little wierd.

I disliked both of them.
The Crepitation song had a 'I love horses' bit in the intro, and that was the best bit of either song. so Crepitation wins.

Nu Metal is better than deathcore. I'm probably gonna get verbally ass-raped in the next few comments, but that's what I think. Nu Metal is more varied than deathcore. Look at early Disturbed and Korn albums (even though you probably don't want to). The songs vary moreso than that of a deatchcore album. I admit I've heard more Nu Metal than I have Deathcore, so maybe that's why I think nu is better.
