Here are some photos from last night (I hope they can be seen this time...):

The venue was in a big Tent in the middle of a park. A dark foggy park, perfect for a girl to walk alone at night/evening... Had that nice Jack the ripper feel, also a lake nearby, perfect for disposing the bodies. Even got a bit lost, but was relieved when I heard a ' Arrrrghh blerrrghhh Saaataaaann!', so I went in that direction and found the place.

Septic Flesh - Had a really awesome gig, too bad it was shorter than I expected...

As I Lay Dying - don't like them, so I just occupied myself with photographing the lead singer while in the air, and concentrate on epic poses (why can't I get that stuff on bands I actually enjoy?! )

And finally Amon Amarth - gig was pretty sweet, stage reminded me of some video game... Also, lead singer is a Giant - I doubt anybody would want to Fight that guy...

caught a pick, too:

went to see Children Of Bodom, Eluveitie, and Revocation saturday night in Sauget, Illinois (literally a stone's throw away from the Saint Louis arch). One of the best concerts i've been to in forever, especially since the last few shows i've been to have been REALLY shitty. the Road trip Down there was badass, mainly consisting of us "pre-gaming" the entire way Down there and our friend who we've dubbed the pissmaster having to stop every Ten fucking minutes to go pee (this caused us to miss the only crappy band on the bill, Threat Signal... darn), he even got out in the middle of a street in Saint Louis and pissed all over the side of the curb0
The concert itself was awesome, Revocation was great, they're like technical thrash with some really great guitar solos. Eluveitie was just as i expected, phenomenal. I've had such a new found respect for that band after seeing them live, I haven't listened to much besides them Ever Since seeing them live, and the new album is great, probly their best since Slania. They tried to get the audience to sing along during the chorus in Inis Mona... that didn't go too well, everyone was too drunk to sing in unison. Children Of Bodom was pretty cool, but they didn't top Eluveitie.. they played a helluva set though, but I didn't get to hear needled 24/7 which is one of the few bodom songs I really like. Went crowd surfing to their last song of the night, I felt like a dick after kickin like 3 dudes in the Head on my way up to the front. The White castle stop after the show was badass as well, but i've rambled on enough about this concert I think. I might even upload some shitty, blurry photos i took during this concert later on

I revive thee, necrothread!

Been last night to Opeth. Setlist was mostly composed of the mellow songs, but they played some stuff from their older albums like Face of Melinda, The drapery falls and Deliverance.

Stayed up until 2 a.m., had to persuade 5 happy drunks that we have to go home because pub was closing, almost cried when alarm clock rang at 6.30 am to go to work this morning.

SO EXCITED FOR THIS.

Saw Dying Fetus and Goatwhore yesterday.. Dying Fetus is infamous for having some Lethal circle pits, and they did not disappoint at all. however, the other 6 bands on this tour really did (some more than others). I have a new Hatred for that fucking Volumes band after seeing them live, it's like Deathcore but worse, West coast abercrombie wearing motherfuckers have no place on a tour with the likes of Goatwhore and Dying Fetus.
To top off the shittyness, the venue these guys played at was WAY too small, it was packed in there, so much so that once the pit broke out you couldn't Escape it, fat, sweaty, shirtless drunk guys were slamming into me left and right. If anyone is considering seeing the Dying Fetus/Goatwhore tour in the U.S., look up the other 5 awful bands on this bill and ask yourself if it's really worth $25? I kinda regret going to it honestly (seeing as how there's so many other better concerts that are coming up in the next month)

Aggh i Forgot about this thread

this was back in February I Saw Deathstars and Rammstein. AND wow was it amazing, the intro of Rammstein was the walkway platform thingy came Down from the roof, and they all did some odd walk over it onto the stage, but they had to walk through the pits to get to it. During Engel Till had some Giant metallic Wings on him and fire spewed out of them everywhere. Indoor fireworks as well. Thats as much as i can described so heres some videos

fire starts at around 2 mins into the video

my last visit to a music concert was a year ago, when Helloween came here.
