Well, my country is currently in the middle of an air strike and NO ONE is getting any mail.
I have two patches that should be coming if it wasn't for the damn strike, and I need 'em in time for the Metallica concert so I can sew 'em on my battlejacket before I go!
Any other Canadians here pissed 'cause of the strike?

Crap. Meant to say MAIL strike. Don't know why I said air strike.
Just so you non-Canadians know, no one's dying. 0

There're other ways to pay bills besides mailing them around, and people are still expected to pay 'em.
Not only that, but no mail Means warnings about interest pile up without people knowing.
But I'm a kid anyway, so bills don't matter in the first place.

Are you going to Bloodstock this year? seeing that you're only about 1 hour away then you bloody well should be . I'm 4 hours away and I'm making the trip up to the best Metal festival on our island.

Of course I'm going , wouldn't want to miss out on the festival of the year especially with it being so close to where I live. Can't wait!

I live in a city in the US. There are no concerts of interest that pass through here. So I have to start saving up and traveling to other states. There are some cool punk shows...The last one I went to was about(Like 20, punk, metal and Hybrid bands performed in one night)...Two years ago now. There are also some interesting weekly shows(But work). Yeah...I live where there's not much to do but hang out with my roommates, go to the movies, sight see, exercise, go to the library, read, sit by a lake or river, go to school and work, lol...

I really wanted to go to the Power Prog Fest. But oh well...Shows like that aren't in my city.

I'm from Singapore. It's a humid place to be in. People here like to follow trends. Boo. I don't know what else I can say...

Most small towns are boring and eventless. It is true that you have to do some traveling to see concerts, although if you save up and go for a bigger festival, you should get to see some of the bands you like.

You are pretty disadvantaged to be living in North America from this point of view, since a lot of bands don't get to tour over there too often.
