more and more metal bands are starting to put techno into their songs, whats your take on it.personally i think some of it is actually catchy.

I personally find a lot of it to be annoying, but there are some bands that are actually good in it. Others will disagree.

Blood Stain Child (regardless of their new album sounding like fucking J-pop, I like it for some strange reason)
Noidz
Sybreed
Damned Spirits' Dance
Black Light Discipline

Metal bands have been taking influences from electronic music since the late 80s and early 90s. Like any genre, it has produced good bands (Godflesh, Sybreed) and bad bands (every gay ass Gothencore band that you can think of that does this). There's really Nothing much else to discuss.

The only electronic oriented Gothenburg band I can think of that doesn't suck ass is Dark Tranquillity; every other one (Soilwork, In Flames, Sonic Syndicate, Dead By April) is horrid.

Well we're aware of bands that made this their exact style of music. But what if in like 2012, No More straight Death Metal or black, or even thrash, all have like techno-ish breaks in between every part of the song with like auto-tune voices some where in the wood work. what if all the metal has been core-ified.

Don't worry; I doubt that'll ever happen. For better or worse, there's always going to be guys who eat up bands like Autopsy, Bolt Thrower and Timeghoul and want to create music that sounds similar. There's many (almost too many) metalheads with a very solidified "oldschool" mindset that will probably never Die out.

There are not enough metalheads having really oldschool approach to music, unfortunately. I'd never respect bands that put techno in metal, metal is about playing instruments, not using electronic samples and devices to make sound with computers and shit

You shittin' me? Look literally ANYwhere on the internet, there's tons of people who are all like "yea i don't listen to anything past 1995 cause thats when metal started to suck OSDM 4 LYFE FUCK YEA" I mean, there's tons of great bands from the good old days, but there's just as many shitty ones and to deny the quality of a lot of modern metal is ridiculous.

EDIT: i'm not implying that this is your mentality, pavel.

this is the only place where I discuss about music on the internet, so I didn't know that. besides all that crap, just out of curiosity, what DM bands created before 95' are bad in your opinion?
