Well, since I may be one of the "same 5 reviewers", you might as well get specific and give arguments to your accusations. Or was it just lip-service for Enig?

If  you were refering to the note I made about people not having enough infomation, I was talking about reviews in general (your reviews aren't in that list) hense the reason why I put it in a separate paragraph  
 
I was trying to say that each person has a (how should I put this) "certain" style they like to follow. Which I think can get boring after a while, and I was pointing out that having some of Engimatick's reviews will only add some variation to the writing styles.

Well... now how am I supposed to react!

Well the ones you cited are basically the most prolific reviewers here so that's why I wanted you to go over this "same 5 reviewers" stuff. As for style, sure, variation is always welcome but if you review lots of shit, it gets hard to be original each and every time. Unless you Suffer from multiple personnality syndrom! With time, you tend to follow the same "matrix".

This week alone I wrote 6 reviews for Spirit of Metal and another 3 for another webzine ... I'm not trying to boast or show off (main reason is I'm soon on Vacation and wanted to get the work done before I leave), I just want to point out that for a reviewer (I don't consider myself a professionnal reviewer, I don't get paid for that), it can get pretty hard to always come up with something original to write. Some reviews are better than others and also sometimes you listen to such crap, you find yourself wishing you didn't Sign up for that shit in the first place.

Yeah, I should have clarified earlier. I have no problem with people following the same structure ( I encourage it because it lets me skim to the parts that I want to read when I'm being Lazy) and I understand not wanting to review crap (I get requests from bands who want something reviewed and put onto my blog).
 
Thats another reason why I don't usually change in my writing styles because I'm not sure what I'm doing is right (ive been penalized for this crap). So I might as well stick to the style that I know best.

I'm on a roll! Just wrote up a review for The Morningside last night, got accepted today. I've been writing reviews for about a year now (submitted my first on in July '10, and wrote a few prior to that but they were terrible) and I'm glad to see that I've really visibly improved as a reviewer over that time. My early reviews were pretty bad

wow... Ive read all of your reviews Enigmatick and I have to say, The One you did on Gris, is my favourite. You have adequately described the music without using words like horsecock and the writing flows very well. And after reading such a thing, I was compelled to go out and check out the band for myself (which I'm guessing was the whole purpose of the review to begin with?).
