Raina says : Oh, completely Forgot about it: try the band Wolf. They are good trad metal too.

Well, Manilla Road's LP is pretty good. listened to the song "Flaming Metal System". Had a Sick intro to it. Deffinitely will get some White Wizzard though.

I may have a band for you to check out; Black Tide. I found these guys a long time ago, in 2008, they aren't what you call "roar" Trad Metal, but they are Heavy Metal nontheless, and a great band. I reckon you've probably heard of them with all your metal expertise and what not. But anyway. . .

Edit: Oh And for DMP's song: 5/10. Liked the folk tune, didnt go much on the vocals though.

How About some good old Butterfly Effect

Ah! They are awesome so here's two more vids:

Dimmu Borgir - For All Tid 9/10

An excellent song to travel through dreams...

9/10 One of my favorite Dimmu songs. I love the airy introduction, from the choir keyboards to the Distorted and echoing guitars. The rest of the song is quite buzzy, but it's lifted above the clouds by those keyboards. Great atmpospheric song that painfully reminds me of the trash Dimmu Borgir turns out now compared to awesome stuff like this. Nice choice, BlackAngel!

In the vein of classic black metal...

Not my favorite Mayhem song, but one of my faves nonetheless.

10/10 How could I give any lower?

Tuesday 07 June 2011 - 05:33:42
7.5/10
had its ups and downs throughout the song, that chugging riff around 2:44 was pretty cool. there's alotta different sounds mixed into that band...very unique.

definantly my favorite track off the new album. kinda like their "dis" to all the NS pagan/folk/viking bands

6.5/10...it was alright, but it was trying wayyy too hard. Sounds kind of like the gap in between Gothenburg- brand melodic death and Swedish black metal.

EDIT: Fuck dammit Demo got in the way well fuck you I'm not rating that song, it's pretty good though. I like Tyr.

I have a question for all of you. What's the cure for listening to too much Kvelertak?

MORE Kvelertak

I might review these guys soon but I don't want to be too eager to give out an 100. I'll hold of for a bit.

This'll probably get low... might as well try.

8/10 I know it's much different than older Amebix but personally I don't really like older Amebix, I really like this though. Heard it the other day and was pleasantly surprised.

I love Blut Aus Nord and so should you, their debut is like Burzum on acid. Similar to Hvis Lyset TAR Oss but much more creepy and dense.
