10/10
For being from one of my favorite albums ever. Great floating vocals sound like they come off from faraway lands. Production is great, Shining light on all the instruments, including bass (which go on a different tangent than the guitars, I might add). The droning guitars work in a rocking metal way as well as conveying deep atmosphere and power. The drumming is great to listen to, and the solos that come in sound like they're being played through echo chambers. There's so much emotional intensity and strength to be found here, and it all just flows so well.

No way this beats anything from Ulver's Bergtatt, but I love it too.

I actually thoroughly enjoyed that. What other songs of theirs do you recommend?

Just try their 2010 'Over the top' album, aside from the Judas and Dio covers they have a pretty good approach on trad metal (which is usually a Pain to find a decent new band playing something good, without boring the Hell out of you). Also, try some Manilla Road - mainly 'Crystal Logic' (not crazy about them, but not too bad, either).
