Hmmm? this is a difficult one because a soul is suppose to be somekind of connection to the other side and I'm not sure wheather the "other side" exists. But yes I do believes in souls but to a degree. Not enough to go and write a book about it or ponder on wheather or not my soul will go to Heaven 0

Yes that's right, I believe in everything that has, matter, Mass, atoms and particles. Why? because we have the evidence.

Then w/o a soul would you say life has no meaning?  If there were no soul what, rather WHO would give it meaning?
As for evidence what has come close in your opinion?

The meaning/purpose of my life is to Survive long enough to pass on my DNA to my children. That was the meaning/purpose of my parents life and it will be the meaning/purpose of my children's life and so on and so on. Souls have Nothing to do with it I'm afraid.

Are you saying that a soul gives life meaning?

No one gives a life meaning. We are just the results of our parents Sex life. Conceived only by chance. All we can do is live it and try to Survive as long as we can, that's life in a nut shell. It sucks I know. Just enjoy it.

No evidence has come close. If it had don't you think I would be worrying about being good and not sinning, so I could book my seat in heaven.

Right you know my view on this, and you know I'm an Atheist. What about you?

No.  I believe the soul isnt the giver of meaning.  I believe there is an Architect, & I believe HE gives purpose and meaning.
LOL!  I don't have any problems answering your question, and I appreciate your answering mine and being honest.

ok, let's say, for arguments sake, that there is more to the Universe than the material. how do we deduce what the metaphysical consists of? or if it exists at all?

Just incase you're alright with wasting an hour and a half, I found a video (Cut into 33 parts on youtube) where this guy goes through a lot of videos made by creationists and disproves every single point that they have made, one by one.
I found it pretty interesting. 0

well, if you are just a sum of Random particles in motion would that explain consciousness.  How can the evolutionist Atheist explain where consciousness came from?
