Just incase you're alright with wasting an hour and a half, I found a video (Cut into 33 parts on youtube) where this guy goes through a lot of videos made by creationists and disproves every single point that they have made, one by one.
I found it pretty interesting. 0
I don't know how this is considered proof.  I don't get the correlation between the search for water being futile or not having anything to do with Creation vs evolution.  Also taking a quote from the known, well, errr, uh, the kid saying the grand canyon was formed in 5 minutes.  How does he represent all of creationists?  IDK.  kinda weak my buddy

besides both sides have their moonbats, right?

alright well here is my theory the way i look at a soul is completely different than any of you, atheists please at least listen because this is not religious this would explain it in the physical world. Now assuming there are parallel universes. I believe a soul is an entity in a different plane of Existence that is tethered to ours and manipulates our bodies with its VAST amounts of energy, and it is not a parasite we are symbiot beings that need the other to function. Take into account someone in a coma, they are clearly alive but unresponsive, that is because the connetion with the "soul" was severed and is trying to be reconnected sometimes it does and sometimes it doesnt. Now death i believe your body in the physical world is gone and now you are the entity because you were all along you just didnt realize it because the "soul" was always a symbiot being with humans because our bains could handle it and that is why we are the smartest creatures on this planet.

With all due respect neverice, if we all believed what you just said I think we would be the stupidest (not smartest) creatures on this planet.

You mention people in a coma have their souls severed from the body, does this happen to me every time I go to sleep? or when someone faints?

I know this is a touchy subject and I mean no disrespect

You are free to believe what you will, but I would like to explain my opinion on this subject.

tl;dr the "soul" would exist on a virtual level, not physical. Alternate universes should function on a differentiating physical level, but are the same virtually.

I am very knowledgeable in the fields of quantum physics and other sections related (string theory, m-theory), and parallel universes are probably not what you believe.

A parallel Universe would have different physical laws. Certain laws would and wouldn't apply. Take, for example, the four fundamental forces. An alternate Universe to ours would have different properties. The strong force could be configured differently, thus disabling the possibility for regular matter (strong force governs the gluon, which binds particles together (i.e.: quarks when Fused cannot be separated. Atoms can, but with extremely dangerous Reaction)).

On a trans-dimensional point of view, membranes are the universes, infinite in length and width. Each one is as another is (i.e.: virtually they are the same, but physically the laws are different). No Universe would contain an addition such as the "soul". Every aspect remains of the normal in universes, not paranormal. To allow the inclusion of a "soul", you would need to add to Nothing, which cannot be done.

I didnt ask you to believe i asked you to listent to a different perspective. I am not religious in any way shape or form but I am a very spirtual individual what i am saying is there is so much we humans dont know so why not at least listen to another person to get more of a perspective on life.

I realize that. But if you notice, I state at the beginning of my explanation "You are free to believe what you will, but I would like to explain my opinion on this subject."

It is just my point of view.

All I believe is that when we Die we pass on to different plane of Existence to start off life again our "souls" have to go through a harrowing Journey to learn what we are meant to learn to achieve our Destiny whatever that may be.

First of all that isnt the kind of GOD i believe in at all. Religion has misconstrued our view of GOD to be a person with omnipotence and Power over all. The "god" I believe in is the part of everyone that tells you to do the right thing or as many of you would call it your "Conscience". Any of you ever heard of Karma, every decision you make effects every aspect of your life and the lives of people around you Hell it effects everyone on this stupid little planet, and every decision everyone makes effects each and everyone of us in ways no one could comprehend. All Atheists let me guess you have had a horrible life and Nothing seems to go right so you asked yourselves "Why would GOD do that to me, all it causes is pain" most likely after someone in your life passes on. Yea I know that all of that Pain sucks and you tell yourselves you will never forgive GOD for what he has done. Well you know what I used to call myself an Atheist until I tripped balls on some crazy hallucinogen my entire perspective on life has changed, I dont believe In Heaven, Hell, or Purgatory, i believe our consiousness is our "soul" and there is no possible way that all of those thoughts, feelings, and Ideas that make us who we are could just cease to exist. We are here on the planet Earth to learn as much as we possibly can until our pysical form dies and our "soul" needs to go to a different host, human, Animal, or possibly Alien, to learn more about what life is until we come to The End of our Journey and we will rest until The End of time. The purpose of this posting is not to make believers out of anyone but rather so everyone will read this and actually think about what has been wrote Down because someone who cant at least listen to someone elses Ideas is a Sad excuse for a human being.

just outta curiosity... was this hallucinogen DMT? I've heard its been known to change people's lives after they try it just once. The drug can cause people to change their entire perspective on life and whatnot... i've done a bit of research on it awhile ago.
