So you're saying that the people that listen to Portal of I are pretentious? I still can't understand how anyone can think that they are "intelligent" for listening to a style of music.

Recently I went to a 16-band concert and Kataklysm was one of the bands. I'd only heard one album by them (Shadows and Dust) and it absolutely sucked, but I figured that either it was one bad album in their discography or, even if they were a bad songwriting group, they'd at least be good live, since I find a lot of Metalcore bands are actually pretty awesome live. But no, their live performance was shit and their music was just as bad. I have not heard one good song by this band and cannot understand why anyone thinks they're good.

Listen to their album Sorcery. Everything else they made has been bad, but their debut is awesome.

I've heard this also but am heard-pressed to believe it since most fans will tell you (including reviewers) that Shadows & Dust is Kataklysm's best. Anyway I have heard one song off Sorcery a while back and it had actual riffs in it so it might be better, at least. Maybe I'll try it if I Ever get around to it. Still, this band is insanely overrated and didn't deserve top billing.

I've seen a couple of people on a Facebook group I'm a member of call this band Lustre overrated, though I can't see why. I personally think this song is incredible.

yeah, Ne Obliviscaris is waaay too overrated because every underground metal fan likes them because they've done their own thing since they started releasing shit LAST year... fuck um, I don't like them specifically because other people like them. Check out Fhghags ngmghsangta=tga, Very underrated techincal Blackened progocore. made me cum all over my phlubomostad metal /m/!$^^*?? come to Indonesia Barakk Barang Kusang barang barang Bangarang dang korang dookie stang. you guys crack me up with your excuses why talented metal bands should be disregarded for the pettiest of reasons.

haha thank you, I have no recollection of typing that out last night. No idea why I went for the standard Indonesian troll comment there but what's posted is posted.
