yeah, i gotta agree, i liked Slaughter of the Soul, but that's what i'd call a Death Metal one hit wonder, I never really got into their other albums like the Red in the Sky is ours, or Terminal Spirit Disease, and i think alotta people are the same way, they're famous for that one good album

i just wish i could find some of their albums somewhere, it's impossible to find em anywhere. is Boy George in that "You Spin me round (like a record)" music video? i can't tell, whoever it is, he's definantly gay0

We all missed the obvious: Dragonforce. Obviously bands like At The Gates and Metallica are overrated, but they at least are OKAY. The fact that DragonForce has ANY fans at all is disgusting!!

I like songs like, Black Fire, Revelations, Through The Fire And Flames.

I second Mastodon, I love them and all; but they were hyped up to be "omg the greatz band everz!!!"

Turned out to be Isis with vocals, still like them though.

DragonForce are so untalented and steal so much from Rhapsody Of Fire and Iced Earth that it's not even funny anymore. And Mastodon ARE really good. You can dislike the style all you want, but they are very talented and surprisingly good songwriters for sludge/progressive metal.
