personally i have Nothing against DragonForce, i used to be a BIG fan of em before they got famous on Guitar Hero. i don't think the band is necessarily overrated, but Through the Fire and the Flames definantly is, that song got old after the 100,000th time i heard it. Sonic Firestorm was a great album, and Valley of the damned was too. Where Dragons Rule is probly my favorite song from em. or Soldiers of the Wasteland

I third Mastodon. They are only alternative with a bit of Sludge (and they don't have any real individuality, except for monotone singing for all of the shoruses (my opinion)). Real Sludge is the kind that has chugging noises so deep that they'd make your Head explode. DragonForce is good... but I Hate Inhuman Rampage. That album all sounds the same to me.

In my opinion it is IRON MAIDEN... Once you've heard one of their songs you've heard 'em all..

Same here but I just decided to forget about Inhuman rampage and listen to all their other stuff.

yeah, i mean, there was a few good songs on Inhuman Rampage, but Through the Fire and Flames just got soo goddamn old after awhile that i just can't stand to hear it anymore. i haven't even listened to that new album of their yet, Ultra Breakdown or whatever the Hell its called. their first 2 albums were their best i think

I'm not that KeeN on Ultra Beatdown.

I wonder who the new singer will be? and if he/she can fill ZP Theart's shoes.

i didn't even know he left the band. he was a pretty good singer, there's not awhole lot of Power Metal bands that get the vocals Down right, and they were one of the few that did i think

I actually thought that Ultra Beatdown was close to a masterpiece. Give it a shot but don't listen to their music videos, they're about 3 minutes shorter than the original soundtracks and skips some of the best parts.
