same here man, Wintersun is my favorite band, i can't wait to fnally listen to the new album, Time. it was supposed to be out in 2008, but now it's supposed to be sometime in 2010.

they're alot of genres put together, Melodic Black, Death, Folk, i've even heard them be described as Blackened Power Metal before, they're genre's kinda hard to classify

Seems like nobody mentioned my most favorite band Eternal Tears Of Sorrow with their enchantingly beautiful symphonic tendencies. Other than that I'll add Soulfallen with only two full-lenght albums (for now) with music powerful enough to get under your skin and simply stay there. And maybe Nightrage, but only the first two records after which they somehow got lost for me. Next is more or less already listed here:

Mors Principium Est
Kalmah
Insomnium
Before The Dawn
At The Gates
+ good old Norther and In Flames

There are a lot of melodeath bands out there...but the_unholy....sonic syndicate is a more Metalcore band than melodeath band i think...well at least for me....black dahlia is also a little bit more towards deathcore than melodeath i think....but anyways below is the list of melodeath bands that i listened to...I do not listen to them as much thou...

Ablaze My Sorrow, Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, Archeon, At The Gates, The Haunted, Blind Stare, Carcass (new), Insomnium, Norther, Dark Tranquillity, Darkest Hour, Kalamah, Graveworm(new), Heaven Shall Burn, Harmony Dies, A Life Once Lost...etc....

There is alot more in my playlist...which i Lazy to specify...

Hmm, I recently got my hands on Incarnia's demo - it's quite worthy, to say the least! They just uploaded some new songs at MySpace from the upcoming debut album, the material sounds very promising!
