If you want some good thrillers, you should just ask

Righto then. What do you suggest?

Sorry for the late response. Anyway:

Psycho (THE ORIGINAL GODAMMIT)
M (German language)
Vertigo
Repulsion
Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte
The Haunting
Rear Window
The Killing
Diabolique (French language)
Whatever Happened to Baby Jane
Audition (Japanese language)
Frenzy
North by Northwest

That's all for now. All of these are phenomenal films.
Just so you know, though, North by Northwest is more of an adventure/action than a thriller, but it has elements of thriller in it.

Just finished watching Dances with wolves and i liked it immensly. Truly is one of THE best movies i have Ever watched, and it just emphasised just how cruel humans can be. I believe the film would do the books Justice, although i have not read it. . . yet. I suggest you people watch it, you wont regret it. Infinity, surely you must like Dances with wolves??????

Yes, I do like Dances with Wolves.

I recently watched the longest movie I've Ever seen in my life. That movie is Fanny and Alexander!

It's five and a half hours, and every minute of it is phenomenal. It's about the life of a family over the course of... three years. Mainly it's about a Widow and her Two children seeking Solace against social hostilities. The script, the acting, the plot, the symbolism and the surreal sequences near the end... this movie is a total Masterpiece and is totally worth 5 1/2 hours of watching. I wasn't bored for a second.

Geez, i can barely sit through 3 hours of a good film. You know it's a good film if it keeps you enthralled the whole time, and you dont realise that the time has ticked by. Somehow, i think that is somewhat impossible given the circumstances. I mean 5 hours, fuck that.

Dances with Wolves is good, but damn it is overrated.

I've heard of that extremely long movie. I need to watch it.

Yeah you do. And though you might be tempted to watch the edited version that lasts 3 and a half hours, don't. I Saw it and it doesn't feel nearly as fleshed-out as the 5 hour one, and they leave in unnecessary scenes but cut out a lot of important ones.

Right now I'm trying to track Down an even longer film that I've heard is a complete masterpiece. It's called The Human Condition, and it's almost Ten hours long. And I also have a little interest in seeing Berlin Alexanderplatz as well... that movie is 15 hours.

15 hours???? damn, isn't that either very boring or just mind-boggling to understand as a whole?

Yes, it is a ridiculous length, but I've heard from people that've seen the film that it feels like a TV mini-series and that even if they watch the film in one sitting they don't feel the time lagging on. I can't imagine that, but anyway, Belin Alexanderplatz isn't even close to the longest movie Ever, though I think it is the longest movie with a consistent narrative and story. The longest movie Ever is Modern Times Forever, and that movie lasts a mind-boggling 10 days. IMAGINE SITTING AROUND FOR Ten STRAIGHT DAYS (more than a week, mind you) WATCHING ONE MOVIE. If you sat there without any pauses to get snacks, YOU WOULD Die OF THIRST. That is insane. And the film is basically just a time lapse of an old building Decaying over hundreds of years, or something like that.

The Human Condition sounds like it is perfect from what people have told me and from what I've read. It's probably damn hard to find though.
