While blogs mainly serve as an outlet for people to talk about shit nobody cares about, I've found some really good, informative, entertaining blogs in my time. I suppose I jut want to spread the word of them, but you can also use this thread to discuss the blogs on hand, share some of your own, etc. Doesn't have to be metal-related, even though all mine are.

Trial By Ordeal:
http://trialbyordeal666.blogspot.com/

Blog run by one of my favorite writers on M-A (Noktorn) as well as some other guy I don't care about much. Has some really smart and thoughtful articles and generally solid writing on what's hip and happenin' in underground metal today- talks about bands new and old.

Worship Humanicide:
http://worship-humanicide.blogspot.com/

It's one of those download blogs- it's one of the best I've come across, pretty much a gold mine for anyone even remotely into black metal.

Cosmic Hearse:
http://cosmichearse.blogspot.com/

Another download blog that features anything from Black Metal to jazz- all of it pretty obscure. One more thing- it's operated by the drummer of Agalloch (Aesop Dekker). That alone pretty much makes it awesome.

Paying Attention to Metal:
http://www.payingattentiontometal.blogspot.com/

Fantastic review blog. I agree with most things this guys says and always respect his viewpoints on the music, and he's one of the best music critics I've ever seen- Describe the music simply and sweetly, always knowing exactly what to say to get his point across and makes you see it from his angle even if you disagree.

That be all of them. Give a comment or two on 'em or shout-out some of your own personal favorite blogs if you Desire to do so.

There are a couple of reviewing blogs I like to read.

If am feeling like a Lazy fuck and just want a quick overview of a band/album I like to go on http://scumfeastmetal666.blogspot.com/ . they have a decent collection of reviews on there, almosy churning out one per day.

When I like a little detail about a new release or something I checkout http://lairofthebastard.blogspot.com/ . But the only problem with this is that It doesn't contain as many reviews as scumfeastmetal666.

The Contaminated Tones blog has a nice collection of Extreme metal reviews http://contaminatedtones.blogspot.com/ (mostly Black Metal)

Now this blog contains many shorter overviews of albums http://fullmetalattorney.blogspot.com/  but they cover many genres of metal rather than just one particular style.

I wonder if there are any blogs out there that include a download link after each review. Because all I have seen is one or the other... why can't we just have a one stop shop?

Total Deathcore is an awesome download blog. They used to have pirated material on there but they have moved since. Only unsigned artists can have their band displayed on there and they must request it before TD can post it 0

Anyone heard of Zero Punctuation? This guy is great. He doesn't review music he reviews video games. Very funny, very Negative and very British.
