I stumbled upon it about 6 months, and joined so I can post reviews. Metal archives is nice for discovering new bands (and Ib done some reviews on there as well), but everything here is much more diverse and organzied so I joined today

I found Spirit of Metal a long while ago, most likely via a Google search for some Random band.

However, I just recently joined today after searching for a good, stable metal forum to start posting in. EM just didn't do it for me.
