I heard DevilDriver on scrubs, and i thought that was the coolest shit,then later that day i heard Lamb of God-Ruin,those songs got me hooked on all metal like Scar Symmetry, Sepultura, CoB, The Agony Scene, even softer bands like Avenged Sevenfold and Metallica, and some deathcore such as BMTH and Darkness Dynamite

mine is a common story: i became aquainted to metal throuth the mtv video clips, especially metallica's!!!and the first album i bought was metallica-garage inc just when it came out!
but the first time i recall my self listeninig to metal and enjoy it was a few years before
when i was given the music theme for my ballet performance and it wasn't other than manowar-master of the wind!!!

I discovered metal, thrash and so forth many many moons ago starting with Crass, Flux of Pink Indians, mainly bands on the Crass label  in the very early eighties then it just erupted from there going to a club in Birmingham called "The Kaleidoscope"with bands playing there mainly on weekends such as Emperor as such bands from that genre. With people giving away fanzines with up and coming bands playing in and around the Birmingham area.And also not forgeting the most famous place in the world a club called "JBs" in Dudley.With bands such as U2 playing there not my cup of tea, i didnt see them personally but my brother did and they got booed of stage(well Bono is a T***).Just a little bit of info on me really only just joined this forum.

I started with Metal Music late. I think it was in my 16.
Befor I listened many type of music like punk, country and some stoopid dance music also hehehehe
My first album was Hell Awaits from Slayer
I was in pub where my older friend worked and when I heard demonic Power of Kerry King´s guitar then I was awake ....
Next albums was Master of Puppets (Metallica) and Piece of  Mind
(Iron Maiden).
After that all was everything like a speed train  ( in Helloween rythm )
Metal changes completly my life.
I began play and compose metal music......and now I cant imagine to Live without  Metal.

When i was like 5 years Old my DAD used to listen to Rammstein and i really liked it. When i was 7 my DAD listened to Balls To The Walls and Brave New World a lot wich i liked. When i was 12 i started listen to HammerFall and Iron Maiden myself and i never stopped listen to it. And now i like faster metals and discover new metal bands everyday.

Kiss - ballades and other hits
Pink FLoyd -the wall
aand Metallica _ black album and Master
thats how I discovered Metal, I had heard metallica before and Iwas  kinda interested in
this band
 
then was System Of A Down and Stratovarius, Black sabbath, maiden and judas pirst
and finally, one day I downloaded NOvembers Doom's "To welcome the Fade" and I'm doom addicted since then.
