As much as I Hate to admit that I watch a show that is essentially a blatant copycat show, I gotta agree with merc on that one. American DAD is pretty decently funny sometimes (it's sorta like a guilty pleasure for me, I'll deny that I watch it at all, but if I'm bored enough, I'll watch it)

I agree with the whole "early simpsons is the only good stuff" idea, although I think I've watched pretty much every episode from season 20 down.

Family Guy is great and American DAD is shit. The over-the-top parodies and references and whatnot are what MAKE the show funny. American DAD is like Family Guy with all the jokes cut out, it's completely fucking awful.

Absolutely. Those two movies are some of the worst ever made, along with Vampires Bite and Disaster movie. There are no jokes, only references. It's the kinda thing a 12 year old thinks is funny.
 
And yeah, American DAD blows terribly. The characters are SO fucking boring. I don't give a crap about anyone on the screen at any time. Also the Cleaveland Show and Futurama. Cleaveland Show is what happens when a white guy makes a black sitcom: garbage. Plus it's a tired old formula and the idea of a 4 year old talking ghetto and getting boners isn't much of an interest point for me. Futurama is Nothing but puns and repetitive humour.

i totally agree with Infinity regarding those spin-off movies Disaster movie, meet the spartans, Scary Movie(s) (although the first 2 were decently funny in parts) Date movie, etc. those films piss me off. the "Directors" of those kinda movies just couldn't think up something halfway original so they decided to crap all over some already half-assed pop culture film (i.e. 300). its retarded plain and simple. i really wouldn't even call it "Comedy"... sorry about the rant, but i fucking Despise those movies

After Scary movie 2, it all crashed. Every film after that has been degenerate garbage. 300 was pretty good, but the graphic novel is Far Superior to it (fucking love graphic novels).

Pulp Fiction (I find that movie hilarious, but a lot of people don't call it comedy)

I'm actually a huge film buff and I try to watch at least one new movie every week. I watch everything from 20s silent horror films to modern day hollywood films. I'm actually gonna go see Rango this weekend.
