Well... Brutal death is cool but Black Metal just doesn't seem all that extreme

That is because that the majority of it isn't Extreme at all.

as far as women in general listening to mainstream metal i think they're more attracted to the more "mainstream" variety of metal for some reason. i recently found out my girlfriend used to be an active member in an indonesian band called Purgatory (they're not really my taste in Metal, they remind me of Disturbed alot).

Then again I have never met a legit Metalhead girls either.
 
If you want Extreme Black Metal the best I can recommend is Marduk. Check out World Funeral by them 0
 
I'm guessing that you have only listend to the soft stuff. Like me when I first judged Black Metal. 0

I've met a lot of females who are truly into thrash and Black Metal, But I've yet to meet a female who is legitimately into 'true'/'brutal' metal music besides myself.Maybe because most girls have life's and i spend my time on the internet on websites like these listening to music and learning about new bands. It does suck that I can't talk about music with my female friends, but I must admit i like going to shows with Nothing but guys with the same music interest But i do Wish i had a female companion to talk about Grindcore and Death Metal with.

The premise of this thread is dumb Beyond words. Just because you haven't met a girl that like true metal doesn't mean there aren't any.

There are around 7 billion people in the world. You have probably talked with 5, maybe 10 thousand throughout your whole life.
See what I'm getting at here? It's a generalization.
