Hey, did you guys know that Varg's re-recorded songs from his 4 original metal albums? He apparently did it before the recording of Fallen (so he did it before Belus was even released). He's releasing them in 2 seperate releases, one has various songs from Aske, Burzum and DSEGV, and the other has HLTO and Filosofem songs. I'm skeptical about this... probably I'll listen to them, but I'm not totally sure if I'm going to buy them. I just hope Varg manages to capture the passion and Power that was there in the originals. I know that these rerecordings can sound really sterile. I'll definitely check it out though.

I think the new album is great, but I do prefer Varg's older albums.

I don't think you put enough options for the poll; where's 'It's pretty good'?
The options you put up are too hyperbolic.
But anyway, I'm closest to 'it's fricken awesome', so that's what I put.
