I always thought Heaven Shall Burn was Metalcore They are on Metal Archives so they can't be Deathcore, they don't allow that shit on there.

They'll allow Deathcore or Metalcore if the band clearly takes more influence from the metal side of things. Job For a Cowboy's on there cause of their later albums, for example.

Heaven Shall Burn is a Metalcore band mixed with very unconventional melodic death. They don't sound like your average metalcore/melodic death band though, they don't utilize breakdowns at all (NoNe that I can remember) and they sound much more industrial or nu metalish.

Whitechapel is Deathcore at it's purest form and they are on Metal-Archives.

Dude, the fuck. Just because its Metalcore doesnt mean its strictly a "forbidden zone". Broaden your range of music. Hell you might even like them. Afterall, they are more so melodic death, like TBDM, then out and out Deathcore.

(They arent repetitive like Deathcore)

Correct!

I have to admit, Deathcore can get repetitive at times, but thats not enough for me to declare a whole genre a no fly zone.
