I've heard Children Of Bodom did a shitty cover of the Trooper, never got around to listening to it though

They also did a garbage cover of Aces High... it's like they enjoy raping Iron Maiden or something.

alotta bands have Fucked Up some good maiden songs... ever heard Cradle of Filth's version of Hallowed be thy name? its awful, dude. Criminal Element (the Deathgrind band) did a cover of To tame a land by Iron Maiden, definantly one of the strangest cover songs i've ever heard (they also did a weird cover of Pounding Metal)

Here's an opinion you probably didn't think I had: I thought Killswitch Engage's cover of Holy Diver was pretty good.

I can't lie: Dying Fetus and Abused Majesty do some pretty wicked covers.

I had to post this one in a separate reply because it won't let me put it with the other two I posted up there. -_-"

The band In Fear And Faith did a cover of Gangsters Paradise, That is the closest I will get to listening to hiphop, All in all I thought they did a decent job in turning hiphop into screamo.

I agree.

I actually like Killswitch Engage. It might have to do with the singer not having whiny clean vocals.

They're one of the more tolerable Metalcore bands for sure, but that's probably because they're kind of like "diet metal"- meaning they're really inoffensive and have all their sharp edges rounded off, lest their listeners hear something TOO abrasive.
