I heard alot about Dimmu Borgir in the past month.

How their genre sucks and that they're the "Hannah Montana of Black Metal", but I do like their song Puritania.

I wouldn't call Dimmu the "Hannah Montana" of BM. They are prob one of the most accessable bands of BM, that's true but they still don't make mainstream things; CoF does make mainstream shit. Their last album is often bashed onlien but I did like that album. It is different and the problem is... it's hard to get into it. it's just a Stream of difficult ideas.

I've never heard a song by CoF... Except for Dirge Inferno. >.<"
But I guess people think they suck compared to bands like Impaled Nazarene, Bathory, and 1349, to name a few. :l

 
I think Puritania is one of those write-off filler tracks. If I could make a recommendation, try the song Alt Lys Er Svunnet Hen. It's before Dimmu Borgir became the (as you put it) Hannah Montana of Black Metal. To me, that's the best Dimmu song.

I´ve listened to Dimmu Borgir very little, mainly their older stuff. I think Stormblåst and Raabjorn speiler draugheims skodde (older one) are their best songs.
