What do you think is the best of the Core genres? I have to say Metalcore because it keeps the skillful guitar playing, and solos,with the mix of clean and harsh vocals. Analysis: basically you get all you need from Metalcore

For me it's a tie between post-hardcore (Fugazi, Fall Of Efrafa, Glassjaw) and crust punk (Amebix, Discharge, Masakari).

I think that post Hardcore is my favouite because it is the most versitile subgenre of hardcore. You can enjoy the heavy melodicity of the post-hardcore Giant Asking Alexandria, or the ambience of Amia Venera Landscape, or the sludgyness (not sure if thats a word) of cult of luna. So post Hardcore for me has everything I want and more

but I haven't seen any post Hardcore songs with good solos,or solos at all.

I'll go with Deathcore.
Metalcore really isn't my thing.
Besides, most Metalcore bands suck in my opinion. Deathcore has at least some good bands, such as Veil Of Maya, Belay My Last, Carnifex, and Suffokate.

  That might be true (wait... that is true) but I do like how they combine Deathcore with standard screamo elements. They are one of the only bands in the genre who are famous for a reason. Why are you sorry anyway? I'm not in the band
