reggiejp says : What do you think is the best of the Core genres? I have to say Metalcore because it keeps the skillful guitar playing, and solos, with the mix of clean and harsh vocals. Analysis: basically you get all you need from Metalcore

You can get all that from screamo and some post-hardcore as well 0

I think that post Hardcore is my favouite because it is the most versitile subgenre of hardcore. You can enjoy the heavy melodicity of the post-hardcore Giant Asking Alexandria, or the ambience of Amia Venera Landscape, or the sludgyness (not sure if thats a word) of cult of luna. So post Hardcore for me has everything I want and more 0

but I haven't seen any post Hardcore songs with good solos,or solos at all.

There are more than you might think

their solo was pretty badass. no heavy screams though. but you should check out Reflux-"An Ode To The Evolution Of Human Consciousness" Nothing more to say about them other than pure awesomeness.

The song itself wasn't really the best thing in the world but the solos was pretty badass

Metalcore is the best. I listen to way to much Darkest Hour so I never vary with it. Any decent band you could give me that aren't Darkest Hour.

I have to give it to Metalcore, BUT more riffs than breakdowns. I mean a well placed breakdown is always cherished, but once it starts filling up the song like Motionless In White or Asking Alexandria, and both of those bands overuse electronics. This applies for all -core.

I like Deathcore a lot too, especially technical deathcore. Some Post-hardcore is good. I like From First To Last (with Skrillex) because they aren't just breakdowns and have interesting lyrics.

So how do you think I feel about breakdowns

The best Core is The One that can't be classified easely . Like a lot of Post Hardcore does. The One that goes out of the known roads.
Check it out those musics and enjoy originality.
