You are so lucky man, having a temple of BM at a local store. I have to run through several shops frequently to find BM cd's or order them via sites. |

Atleast you have Black Metal. I have never met anyone yet who listens to Black Metal In Australia. It is so Unpopular. I'm trying to get my Thrash loving freinds into it. |

| miniradman says : No one that I know has ever heard of Immortal, Taake, Xasthur, Marduk, Mayhem or Burzum. They are all into Mainstream Metal and Metalcore and Deathcore. Also Post-Hardcore is huge in Australia. I have never met anyone at my school who listens to black metal. The closest they listen to is new Cradle Of Filth. But I am from the Northen part Of Australia (Queensland) I'm not sure how it is Down south. |

Why would you expect anyone to know or like these bands? They're early black metal. In otherwords, they all wanted to be underground and keep to themselves. So naturally, not many people have heard of them. |
Wolves In The Throne Room are awesome too | BEERGRINDER says : Venom have built the fondation of the style but is it really a Black Metal band? Musically it is more Heavy Metal I think. Blasphemy, Emperor, Darkthrone are the best band for me. |
