ZEROED is a death metal band from Bochum, Germany. The band was founded as As Bitterness Reigns... in 1997. In the early years they played a melodic kind of death metal with keyboards. In the middle of 2000 the band split from their keyboarder. Since then their sound evolved from the more epic structures to a compact death metal style with thrash influences: faster, harder, better. Consequently referring to this development the band changed their name to ZEROED.

After numerous live activities and some studio sessions for demo recordings the band released their self-produced debut CD Death Notes in 2002. It contains a collection of songs from the first 4 years of the band' existence.

2003 showed the release of the successor War of Liberation. There are 9 songs that demonstrate the songwriting-wise, technical and sound-wise development of the current style that is called Ruhrpott Thrash Death. War of Liberation has also been recorded and produced by the band themselves.

The following one and a half years saw a lot of songwriting and some live action. In spring 2005 the band recorded two of the new songs at the Beat Point Studio in Grefrath. The result is very satisfying and was basically used for promotional issues. The band is targeting to record a new full-length record in the beginning of 2006.
