Biografie : Wasted Land

It all started in 2003 , when Ahmed Khojah , Emad Ashore, Sultan Alghamdi , Rayan Bahabri and Amer Tashkandi started a thrash metal band called Crimson Iris. They played together for a couple of months and came up with only one song called "Away From Life", after a while they disbanded because of some personal issues. After three months hard months without a band, they once again met up in hopes of creating a new band featuring Ali Maarawi , Ahmed Khojah , Sultan Alghamdi, and Hani Nowillati they completed work on only 2 songs but unfortunately they broke up in the Summer of 2003 because of musical differences. In early 2004 , Ahmed , Hani Nowillati , Mohammed Shata , Emad Mujalled and Ayman Alghamdi formed a new band called S. M. F. They started to play slow metal much like 80s metal and completed one song called "Broken Promises", but later on most of the members got busy with their studies so the band dissolved. In 2005, Ahmed and Ayman were jamming for fun , but this simple session gave birth to a new band, Wasted Land. The two melodic death metal fans ( admiring Gothenberg bands such as Dark Tranquility and In Flames ) then called Emad Mujalled and Sultan Alghamdi to join the band , Emad providing vocals and drums and Sultan playing bass. After recording their first song, "Death in War" they found out the song was a hit among metalheads and the band was asked to play live all over the world. So the band began searching for a permanent drummer for their live shows, the role was finally filled by Tameem, our new drummer.
