Vengeance Creek hails from the very heart of Oregon in the city of Bend and has been a very dominating force in the Oregon metal scene since the band formed in early 2005. The members of Vengeance Creek come from four very different walks of life, both musically and personally. Vocalist, Paul Roberts comes from a background of vocal stylings like: Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden and Geoff Tate of Queensryche. Some would even compare his vocal stylings to Ozzy Osbourne and the late Lane Staley of Alice In Chains. He's a very versatile poetic genius. Guitarist, Don Adams, a Sacramento native, comes from the same era of musical expertise. With such major influences as: Randy Rhoads and Yngwie Malmsteen. He's definitely an amazing musician who is comparable to that of his influences. Bassist, Tim Francis has a long line of musical influences of a more modern era. Reggie Arvizu of Korn and Rex Brown of Pantera, just to name a few. He has a driving sound that just kicks you in the teeth. Last, but not least, Drummer, Jeff Ganske who is a Los Angeles native that's grown up with the greats. Neil Pert of Rush and the early years of Lars Ulrich of Metallica. This man is a technical mastermind.
Whether it be from their amazing live performances, or their self-titled debut album released in early 2008. Ears are opening, and heads are turning. "Vengeance Creek handed every other band their asses royally in just the first shred of metal riffs." "Vengeance Creek are Central Oregon's metal royalty and they have an admirable death grip on classic metal style and technique." Writes a Central Oregon newspaper. Vengeance Creek is bringing back the classic arena metal sound, with the hardcore metal attitude. They're not going to stop until they hit the top. Look out world, here comes Vengeance Creek.
