Sturmkaiser project was born in summer 2003 by the work of Svafnir and Kirion, who decided to found a war-concept band, musically ispired by the french and german black metal schools (Absurd and Kristallnacht first of all), and by some old school norvegian and swedish black metal bands (Darkthrone, Marduk and Taake). Namtar joined the band as bass player for the recording of Demo 2003, but left the band one year later, in september 2004, during the recording of Mors tua, vita mea, the first full-lenght of the band. The first issue of the album, limited to 200 handnumbered copies, had a lot of success in the underground black metal scene, and it has been re-relased by Nebelfee Klangwerke in February 2005. The band, proud of the results obtained with \"Mors tua, vita mea\" (expecially in foreign countries, out of Italy), is currently working on an EP, that should be relased by Nebelfee Klangwerke on late summer 2005. The temporary namecode for the new total annihilation project is \"1945\", and it should contain 3 new songs and one live bonus track.
