The band was founded in 2003 and after the drummer has been changed several times, the current lineup exists since the end of 2008.

After over eight years the five guys from Frankfurt can look back on dozens of gigs in Germany and its neighbours, alongside international wellknown artists like VADER, DERANGED, DEBAUCHERY or EISREGEN. In 2007 they released their first CD "Don't go in the Woods".

PYOMETRAS style can confidently be called groovy OLD SCHOOL DEATH METAL.
Catchy melodies that imprint themselves into the willing fan's eardrum are combinded with angry blasts, varied drumbeats, pushing basslines, fat guitar solos and aggressive growling and screaming that's characteristic of the genre, to form the unique PYOMETRA-Sound.

In October 2011 the band released their second CD "Inhumanities".
