The Perpetual Dreams is a band of heavy traditional metal/hard, appeared in year 2000, in Blumenau (SC). The band is formed by Eduardo Vocal Davila/, Deny Bonfante/Guitar, Jan Findeiss/Keyboard, Chris Link/Baixo and Fabio Passold/Battery.

Having as main influences bands as Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Yngwie Malmsteen, Dio, among others, the Perpetual Dreams develops proper compositions, exploring a style between the traditional metal and hard rock.

In the year the 2000 band launches the demons “The Dark Way Project” and “Forever respectively”, getting in both excellent repercussion in the press and the media.

After several shows for the South region of the country, including shows of opening of Blaze Bayley (former-Iron Maiden) and Shaman, the band signs contract with recorder Hellion Records and launches in 2003 its first album, “Eyes of Infinite”, getting again an excellent repercussion in the press and the national and foreign media. Still in 2003, the band arrives if to detach in the categories “Revelation of the Year” and “Better Tecladista” enters 10 more voted of the country for the public in the annual election of the magazine Roadie Crew, and in 2004, it enters 5 more voted of the country in the category “Band Revelation” in the annual voting of the magazine Underground Rock.

After to have carried through plus a series of shows for the spreading of the “Eyes of Infinite” passing for the regions South and Southeastern, enclosed participation in the traditional national programs “Stay Heavy” and “Backstage”, the band enters at the beginning in studio of 2005 for the writings of as the album.

In December of 2005 the band launched the album “Enclosure for bullfighting” (Hellion Records), a work that shows the band with a heavier noise, fast and direct. The album counts on 11 bands, including the orquestrada “Braveheart”, that it brings the participation of musicians of the respected Orchestra of Chamber of Blumenau, and plus a video clip of the band “Push”, produced for Lorenzo Bonicontro, that already worked with the band “The Gathering”. The graphical art was made by Gustavo Sazes (Tribuzzy/Execution).

Currently the band, who divided palco with bands recently as DrSin, Kiko Loureiro, Jeff Scott Soto, Glenn Hughes and Richie last Kotzen is making shows of spreading of its as album “Enclosure for bullfighting”.

The launching of “Eternal Riddle”, third album of the band, is foreseen for the first semester of 2010. The new album will count on 11 bands and is being produced for Deny Bonfante, counting on the co-production of the proper band.

Before the launching of the new album, the band is promoting the “Project Classic Metal and Hard Rock”, in which the band will present some shows with repertoire focado in covers of its main influences, a form to homage the main bands of the metal!
