Norgathaal is a two man black metal band from the northern areas of London UK started in December 2003. The band consists of Azazoth on lead guitars and Ethrakh Crail doing lead vocals, bass and programming. All music and lyrics are written as a joint effort. Our aim is to make a cold and grim atmosphere and to break away from lyrical stereotypes on war and satanism. Neither of us are satanists and have never claimed to worship any entity as we follow no form of religion.

The word Norgathaal means the 'North Gate'. In this context it refers to a mythical gate through which the north winds blow to begin the winter season.

Norgathaal is currently working on a 4 track demo entitled Blizzard wrath which is scheduled for an end of march release. More information on the upcoming demo along with MP3 samples can be found in the music section. We would appreciate any comments on the bands work.
