Biografie : Nobody

NOBODY starts to play in 1999. The first line-up includes Marco Zampollo ( guitar ), Mario Maccione ( guitar and vocals ) and Marco ( drums ). They are helped by a friend, who plays the bass. The band starts playing brutal death metal, growing up until finding a personal style of extreme music. In Autumn 2000 NOBODY gets the opportunity to take part in some of the German dates of the “Grind Over Europe III Tour”, with Total Fucking Destruction, Haemorrage and Nyctophobic. This is the first of numerous important events that allows the band to become more well-known abroad and gives it the chance to play with big bands and in front of large public. At the end of 2000 the bass player leaves the band and is temporarily replaced by a session man.
In early 2001 NOBODY plays in the last gig of the Finnish band Disgrace, during the German tour, with the Japanese band C.S.S.O. In the summer of the same year NOBODY plays in Germany and Switzerland with Exhumed, Ingrowing, Isacaarum. Because of the big response it gets on this occasion NOBODY is invited to open the Incantation show. This is a great experience, according to the band, and represents another important achievement for it, since it is the first Italian band that has ever played with Incantation. At the end of the year, finally, the new bass player! Claude DeRosa, joins the band. Thanks to Claude's job ( he's a tattooist ), Mario and Marco Zampollo ask him to make an official logo.
In August of 2002 NOBODY plays at “Brutal Assault Festival #007” ( Incantation, Tiamat, etc. ) in Czech Rep., replacing the grind-core band of Claude & Marco. In Winter the band records a promo-cd, “A Dream of Death”: a devastating mixture of brutal death and grind, with demoniac growls, powerful guitars and restless drums.
In the middle of 2003 Mario leaves the band and Claude, who already shares the vocals with him on the record and in live shows, becomes the NOBODY lead vocalist. Until Spring 2004 NOBODY smartly continues its career most of lingering on a composition of new songs, spacing out with lives beside band like Nefas, Gory Blister and Bastard Saints.
In June Claude leaves the other band together with the singer Luca, because of personal problem principally with the drummer. The drummer of NOBODY is the same of the other band, so Claude and Marco Zampollo try to find a replacement for him and recruit Vanni from Wargore and Onirik. Unfortunatly Vanni can't be a full-time drummer for NOBODY because his own bands and his job don't allow him to take part in such an intense live activity. Claude & Marco Zampollo decide to continue with the old drummer above all to avoid annuling the "VII Crusade European tour 2004" with Nefas and Bastard Saints expected for Autumn 2004 and organized by Claude with the help of Paolo from Get Smart Agency.
Between Spring and Summer 2004 Mario Maccione ( previous vocalist ) and Marco Zampollo ( guitarist ) have been arrested with 6 other ones, accused to be part of a Satanic sect called “Bestie di Satana”. They're accused of the murder of some young people. Because this accident NOBODY cancels the following events: "9th edition of Brutal Assault" in Czech Rep. ( with Cannibal Corpse, Misery Index, Impaled Nazarene, etc. ) and the "VII Crusade European tour 2004" ( with Nefas and Bastard Saints ). Alone but determined to carry on the NOBODY project, in October Claude calls again his long time friend Andy Soresina as a guitarist ( Stygian, Neophyte, Alice in Darkland, etc. ) and the really young drummer Alex Capuzzi ( Suppurated, Anti-jap Riot etc. ). They quickly starts to compose new materials thanks to the great
professionalism of the new members.
In November Claude decides to register Nobody's mark because of several problems with the old drummer.
In January 2005 after just 2 months NOBODY plays the first of many show at "Frontfest III" in Belgium ( with Polluted Inheritance, Pandemia, Guerrilla, etc. ).
