When it was almost sure that IGNORABIMUS will split-up, Sorts and Uziel felt it was obvious that they will continue their journey making metal music together. It was quite clear for both of them that they want to continue expressing contents from their twisted minds in more darker, evil and extreme way. Death metal - music that they had always loved, a new challenge, new musical path to wander. So there they were, at the dawn of the new band.

When the band was still an idea they both thought that Uziel should play guitar instead of bass he was playing in Ignorabimus (and is still playing in death metal band CATAFALC). Sorts was very pleased that Uziel started playing guitar because he has cool ideas and his own special way to make them happen with guitar. The chemistry between both guitars was very good in the beginning already.

They asked Tarmo to continue with them like he did in Ignorabimus. So he agreed to try and became the drummer. Funny how history repeats itself, the founding of Ignorabimus was exactly the same. The only difference was that Tarmo now had previous band experience.

As Uziel was now playing guitar they needed new bass player. Fortunately they didn't have to look far - a longtime friend Doomhand was in their minds. He had played bass in IRDHING. They knew him quite well since they had had lots of parties together. In May 2nd they made him an offer he couldn't resist. He was very excited to make some ugly sounds.

After few weeks of brain assault in May 9th Sorts and Uziel came up with band name Nihilist Crypt which changed into grammatically even more inaccurate NIHILISTIKRYPT. It describes music and conception of the band very good. Lyrically nihilistic, misanthropic, hateful dark themes from deepest crypts of their mind. Some of the things they write are the things happening around and bothering them. Musically dark, unexpected and evil metal.

So this is basicly how the band was put together. First rehersal took place in July 10 in Guano rehersal room. During November they put together their own rehersal room with CATAFALC. In the end of December they decided to go to the studio in February 2005.

2005

In January 20 they offered Orc from ECHTALION to try some growling. Orc liked it very much and stayed. Uziel had now less to do with vocals and more to do with guitar. It was very progressive change.

By the first days of February it was clear that studio session will be delayed since the songs had been developing and had become more complicated. They started very intensive rehearsal period. Also after a long argument the demo was named to REQUIRED SAQRIFICES. Finally in March 24 began the long-awaited studio session which unexpectedly ended with the drummer Tarmo leaving the band.

But soon after searching for a new drummer they invited on April 4th young and talented drummer Port from band SPELLBINDER. After another intensive rehearsal period the demo recording started over again. The demo should be ready in middle of July, containing nine tracks including intro and outro.

On May 16th was confirmed their debut live at HRC Laagri Promotuur in Tartu in Sõbra Maja with Must Missa, Human Ground, Tharaphita and Surrogoat. The gig took place on May 27th. Their next live was much more ambitious - at Conquer Festival 2005 Metal Days in Malbork in Poland on 8th-9th July, organized by Polish record company Conquer Records.

On 19th July Uziel and Sorts were quests in radio show METALLION. Also, for the first time the band sounded in radio, track "Rebellion Against Thee".
