Biography
Morridan was formed in may 2003 by Lars Magelssen(guitar), Knut Olav Vadla Hessen(bass), Øystein Røed Tveito(drums) and Gustav Jørgen Pedersen(synth and vocals). During 2004 Knut was replaced by Patrick Møller Nilsen on guitar. The band wrote and recorded the demo tape "Når Skumringsriket Våkner" which sold out in about 60-70 copies in a quite short amount of time. The band played several concerts at different scenes around in Oslo as a part of the tour concept Lydekspressen. Among the largest concerts were the Youngstock festival and a show at Parkteateret. About a half year later Patrick decided to quit the band in favour of his other band Svarttjern. The rest of tha band contioued in some time after that. The last gig was performed at Sætra Scene 02/11-05. But the band tried to record some of the last written songs after that. The result was the unfinished "Vandreren", intended to be a two part story, in which "Vandreren" was the second. The first part is never written through and through, but maybe some day it’ll see the light of day. At the moment Morridan is unactive, and the band members are busy with their other projects.
