Midas Fate started with Vitor Campos and Felipe Vieira. They wanted to make virtuous songs that didn't sound boring, so they started to write them down and record the songs while looking for other musicians.
On Midas Fate everything is written down on scores before the recording sessions. All the instrumental is finished before any lines for voice or lyrics are composed.
They graduated as classical composers, and write progressive metal/rock as classical music. That ensures their songs are different and unique.
Renato Videira was friends with both of them for years and joined the band later. Once the instrumental team was formed, they called Mike DiMeo (ex-Masterplan, ex-Riot) and then the line-up was complete.
Mike brought his bluesy style which enriched the style of Midas Fate.
Midas Fate released on February 2011 the single, "What Dreams May Come".
It was mixed by Paulo Brancaccio at Diesel Studio and mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studio.
