Biography
FRANCISCO RIVERA, THE MAN BESIDE MAGNA VERITAS

When I was a kid I always dreamed with a band (among other things like publich my own comics, be an artist, writer, etc.) So I started to write songs. I NEVER had classmates with the same tastes in music until now that I entered to the university. I wait all my childhood for someone wich i could do a metal band or something... then i thinked i've been wasting my time and i formed a band with some guys to play pop-rock, melodic punk and that kind of shit. I just remember a few songs of nirvana and black sabbath that really enjoyed playing, the rest... i wasn't "happy" at all, hehehe. When this band was solved I write a song called "la fria barbarie" that, honestly, sucks, but was the first step to form Magna veritas. I showed this demo to some guys, (boris was one of them) and i saw some people like it. Then I think "hey, let's write more songs" and i did it, and I like it, you know, all that rage, despair, and special "vision" about the human race was my "battery" that make me create "Therapy of the flagellated"ah, yes, there was a problem (by the way) My mic wasn't good, so i talk with my friend Boris to record the vocals and i just loved his growls. Then everyday he was more compromised with magna veritas, always asking for more stuff, hehehe, and well... he was a great support. He IS a great support. When I upload this tracks to myspace, Tchort was looking for bands to his new label and he like what I was doing so he invited me. Then the support of people of my country and around the world was incredible. I never though that my music had the acceptation that has today. Thanks to all of you! Magna Veritas is alive for YOU.
