Biografie : Klomp

KLOMP is a brutal death metal band with black metal influences and some ambient tracks, hailing from the country side of Overijssel (The Netherlands). The band was formed in the beginning of 2006, at the local tavern of Kampen.

After TROMPE and ANTON-DIRK - the founding members of KLOMP - discussed some matters, like how KLOMP had to sound like, they started rehearsing. Soon a number of brilliant, complicated and brutal tracks were made. This went very well, and so KLOMP recorded a mini CD at Black Hole Productions - called Oe Kan De Donderij'n Krijg'n - which contains all the songs KLOMP made from the beginning until the beginning of 2007. This recording was sold out very soon, because of the small amount of copies it counted.

Shortly after this, a new boy from the shed - BONKE BERT - joined KLOMP. All agreed that he would take care for the 4-pieced plough. He actually never even touched one, though, but KLOMP was very greatful he joined. But a short period after he joined, he left again. The reason why is unknown, and for KLOMP this is as important as an empty beer bottle.

In October 2007, KLOMP released an other recording called Gait E.P.. This recording counts 5 tracks and it is limited to 50 copies. The brutal farmers death metal KLOMP produced, got received as your sweaty foot fitting perfectly into a dusty old clog. Very good reactions on this recording followed. KLOMP even got contacted by a metal e-zine in New York with the question to send a copy for a public review.
