The three in the band line-up are together for 3 years, as the band exists since 1996. JUNKYARD BIRDS began with raw blues-rock in the Johnny Winter mood, fastly moving to the sound and inspiration of the british dinosaurs of the 70's (Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin). A couple of years later and after a line-up change, the band starts to cross the 1969 Detroit sound with all these british influences. And here we are now, a full-throttle power trio ! We enjoy to play live and loud, as the more it's loud the more it's good ! We love to play distorted and flanged power chords on our heavily detuned instruments (much of our songs are in B !!). We use Marshall, Fender, Rickenbacker, Ampeg, Pearl stuff and some Ibanez and Electroharmonix stompboxes. so, we are just a rock'roll band, we play the music we love, and we don't care about anything related to professional music business.
